Alexander Schmidt Centre opened in Biomeedikum

At the end of October, multi-purpose academic centre named after the 19th-century rector of the university, professor of physiology Alexander Schmidt were opened in the Biomeedikum building of the University of Tartu Faculty of Medicine.

The rooms can be used as lecture rooms or for conferences and seminars. The 340-square metre centre includes four lecture rooms, which can accommodate a total of 150 people. In addition to these rooms, there is a common space with a studying area and a kitchen corner. The rooms can be booked; employees of the faculty can use the rooms free of charge.
